White Whirled

Nothing really to report, I just felt like posting. My Whirled is now white. I thought at first it was going to bother me, hurt my eyes more because it creates more of a glare, but then I reminded myself that I'm on facebook a lot and it's also white so I told myself to shut up and I got over it.

Though it does change the way my backdrops for rooms look just a little. Nothing looks as dark as it did now that it's framed in white, so I guess the change came just in time for the Halloween contest since I now know to make my designs for the contest darker than things I've done in the past.

Of course that's provided I don't chicken out and actually enter the contest.

I was gone for awhile. I had all sorts of computer troubles but I"m back now and getting back into the swing of things so hopefully I'll stay on top of this blog and keep my reader (which I fear is only me) up to date on what I'm doing in Whirled.

Whirled: Art Update

I’ve made a few backdrops recently. The crypt one took me a really long time, but I reused the side walls as a back wall in a hallway. I made it large enough that it should hold a good number of friends. My friends tend to gather in number, so the size of my rooms will reflect this desire.


I also took the wall relief that’s in the back of the crypt and turned it into furniture, so that others could buy it and put it up in whatever room they wish.


It doesn’t seem like I have much to report. I’ll have to go get busy making more stuff.

Whirled: What Post?

Ragbeard announced that Lilith was going under the knife for some corrective surgery. Moonshade pointed out it was rude to suggest a lady needs anything corrected and Nemo then pointed out that Lilith isn’t a lady. This in turn sparked a large conversation among the kiddies about how their mother wasn’t a woman and then the adults had to step in and inform the kiddies that Nemo was referring to Lilith’s level of manners and class, not her gender. One of them then said it was bad for a woman to feed on people, but not a man. And Moonshade told them that those men wouldn’t be called gentlemen anymore than the vampire women are called ladies.


Moonshade made it to the bottom of the top feeders, but she knew it wouldn’t last. It never lasts.


Moonshade’s sire stopped by the room the group was hanging out in, which happened to be Anniya’s vampire room. Moonshade was delighted to see her master and ran over to greet him.






Moonshade fell asleep at her post and woke up to find everyone was gone except Moogie who was also sleeping. Shade got off the sofa and stood around all sleepy like wondering what do to next when Moogie also woke up. Moogie said she was used to it and happened to her all the time.

Whirled: Random Conversation

Whirled: Secret Asian

Twizzler invited Moonshade to a party, so off she went to join her friends. They were playing wordsketch on Scribble. Moogie won almost every round, but Moonshade still had a lot of fun.



A song was playing about a secret agent, but Anniya said she couldn’t tell what it was saying. It was pretty hard to tell, so it was fun making up what the words of the song were.

Whirled: Stretched Skin

Moonshade hung around her own house for a little bit and had a couple of guests stop by for dinner.


While she waited she had a distant conversation with Moogie about being what you eat. Moonshade’s argument was that if Moogie eats mostly chicken and is you are what you eat, does that make Moogie a coward? Moogie assured all her friends she doesn’t eat cowardly chickens however.


She soon got bored with waiting for deliveries of her meals and went to visit Ragbeard. While there she and a couple of others got into a conversation about how well Ragbeard matched the walls of his crypt. Moonshade said it made her wonder what the walls were made of, but Ragbeard didn’t leave her in suspense long and told her it was his skin.






Moonshade hung out in the crypt even after the others had left. Bella found her there, but then fled again so Shade told Ragbeard that he intimidated the young Bella. Then Shade left before he responded. She wanted a nap and would feel strange for taking it on the floor of Ragbeard’s crypt.


Shade went back to the tree house village and laid back on her new lounge chair for a nap. She had a couple of guests come through while she was napping, but didn’t wake up while they were there. When reviewing the tree house security those guests made no sense to Shade anyway, so back to sleep she went.


Twizzler met Imaginary Friend and started calling him IF. Maybe he’s real, maybe he’s not. IF.

Crazy Whirling Day

Moonshade hunted her friends down early and found them all in Ragbeard’s crypt. While there Nemo asked how she came to be part of the group and she decided to put all the blame on Zell. Zell was the one she’d met first when he visited her tree house forest, and then she in turn visited his house one day and that’s where she found everyone else. And that’s when Juice told her to stick with them, that they were relatively safe. So really, it’s Juice’s fault.



Moonshade went back to her own house and had a few vampires over for a bite. One of them drank her magic potion. One of the joined her linage. She’s always happy to get another child of the night.




The every so creepy Mr. Tickles stopped by.


One of Shade’s guests was so afraid he hid behind the clock.


A pet called Beeble came by as well. Shade isn’t sure who’s pet he was, but she had a lot of fun talking to him.



After all her guests left, Shade decided to start randomly visiting every friend she had in her list. She has a large list. One such friend got a little offended when Shade sat on his giant crow. If the crow didn’t like it though, he’d have done something about it.


Shade was doing alright among the top feeders, but knew that Moogie and Dem would only come out of their coffins later to knock her off the board, and they did.


Moonshade found her sire, Fox, behind the curtain in the vampire hall. She knew it was him. That purple skin kind of stands out. They did a little feeding, but then he had to go.


Shade went back to her house where her friend Bella stopped by. Bella doesn’t always stay long, but it’s nice to have friends care enough to drop in.


Shade tried to visit her friends but the door was locked. So then a couple of them cried out to her that the door wasn’t locked anymore and she ran toward them, but it was locked again. She finally got in and took a seat. Several others had the same trouble with the locked door as Shade did, so she didn’t feel as awkward after realizing she wasn’t the only one locked out.





The little odd thing called Nimbus decided to go through the pockets of a tranny in the room.



Dem was right. It was one crazy night, not the typical napping parties Shade accused them of having all he time, though Aduros still slept through it all. How? No one will ever know.

Whirled: Slow Day

My Imaginary Friend was out feeding on other vampires when someone asked him why he wasn’t invisible. He should have told him it’s because he’s not ninja.


Imaginary Friend then went back to his own tree house in the village, but he lacks a coffin so he had to go over to Shade’s tree house to use hers. Other vampires wandered in while he was there and he hoped Shade wouldn’t mind.


Moonshade however was outside in the village center where her friend Bella had stopped by. Bella likes to stop by almost everyday. In fact, Bella is over so much, Moonshade told her that she could move into the next tree house that was built.


Then Moonshade went to visit her friends.
