She later decided to head over to The Shire, as she had some errands to run there. She'd always heard The Shire was a safe and peacful place so she feared not being on the road at night. That was until she came across and elf girl on a horse. Eibwen heard the elf coming up behind her so she jumped out of the path of the horse. The elf girl stopped in the road and Eibwen stood to the side near a small stone wall. The elf then seemed to go through the arch in the road the stone wall was attached too, so Eibwen started to follow, then the elf backed up her horse and Eibwen had to leap out of the way once more. It was then it became apparent the elf meant to run Eibwen over and so she lept over the wall to get away, the elf and her horse followed. Eibwen began to run of course and jumped over walls, fences, whatever she could find. She lost the elf for a few seconds when she hid in a large bush, but then the elf must have seen movement when she peeped out to see where the elf was. Eibwen kept running and leaping to try and lose the elf girl and her horse, she even looked for doors to run into, but found none that would open their doors at night to a strange woman running from an elf. Eventually the elf found the hobbit she was looking for and road off when Eibwen jumped up on a roof to evade her.
The day was ended with a nice trip to visit her grandfather, Kudo, with her father, Jakub. She also discovered he was the one she'd been drinking with the night before at The Prancing Pony. She'd been a little too far gone to realize it was her dear old dad by the time he'd joined her. He asked her if she was still courting the cat, but she slyly changed the subject.
